Courtney was the only rider to go to the bottom of the hill and re enter properly, all the others cut the track. Pretty hard to say what they should do. Removing the last lap makes sense, gutted for CD151

something making sense, and being the rules is two different things,

since the race ran its full distance, they probably can not take a lap off, if it had been red flagged it would be different,

That's pretty incredible. Congrats to Fontanesi the second Italian to become a 2017 world champ.

Van der Ven would have won the championship if they would not have DQed her from the second race in Indonesia, she missed out on 20 points there! Very unfair if you ask me, if i am not mistaken they DQed her because she was off track and went around a mudhole to get back on track. To me that sounds like getting back on the track as soon as POSSIBLE. I wasn't there, so i have no clue if it actually happend like this, but this sure sucks big timeSad

Fontanesi had no idea she had won the title until about two minutes after she crossed the line. Amazing championship!
