HOW TO TELL WHAT CRANK I HAVE

how do you tell if it is an oem crank in ur dirtbike or aftermarket one. The one i have has no markings or numbers or writing on it. But has a prox 03.1322 connecting rod. 2002 honda cr250

Ive alwready said its got a PROX CONROD if u read the question properly. The guy who had it before me rebuilt the engine with a prox conrod which is the reason why i was wondering if its the origional crank lol

I suppose that could be an OEM crank. I'm just assuming the whole crank assembly was replaced as a single unit, which means it's likely a Prox crank. They make full assemblies. Pressing a new rod into a crank isn't exactly shade tree mechanic stuff so hopefully the guy who owned it before you knew what he was doing if that's the case.

Can you ask him? I would suggest directing your question towards a more technically oriented forum instead of this circus. This is a general motocross discussion forum. You're just begging to get ridiculed mercilessly here.

Just compare it to a known OEM crank. Search google images or order one then return it.

OEM Honda cranks have the sleeves around the counterweights, as does this one.
