Hi Everyone

I've lurked around Vital for quite some time, mostly drooling over the bike builds forum. I now have something to contribute that I think this crowd will enjoy.

I've done time lapse photography for a couple years now, but I can't always be out shooting at scenic places and I wanted to put my camera gear to good use. So I combined my photo hobby with my motorcycle hobby and came up with this.

I'm kicking around the idea of doing a full bike rebuild series like this, but if it happens it will be a loooong process. So for now please enjoy!

NICE!!!

I'm a photo guy, too, but I can't stand investing more than a crappy snapshot when I'm working on stuff
so you have a TON of respect from me for putting that together. Well done!!!

Very awesome and informative video. I would like to hear a little voice over kind of explaining what all the parts are, but very neat nonetheless. Thanks man, keep them coming!

That was absolutely brilliant! You need to make more of these, they could become really popular!

I just did my first shock rebuild a few days ago, so I found this especially awesome. Though I'll admit, I started to gasp in fear when I saw the valve stack coming apart!! (as a first timer, I took every precaution possible to keep my stack together) Until I saw it was for a gold valve revalving Laughing Killer, amazing, awesome video!!!

I took the first photo for this just over a month ago, and I'd guess I have 40 hours into it. This was my first stop motion so knowing what I know now I might be able to cut that time in half.

I probably have 10 hours into just the sound effects which surprised me. Some I recorded, some I downloaded, and all of them took way longer than expected. But as they they say "sound is half the picture" and I think it's particularly true here.

Thanks for all the feedback everyone!

I kicked around the tutorial idea a bit, but for this video I just wanted something that anyone could enjoy watching casually. There are so many ways I could go with this it's a bit hard to choose a direction.

I won't make promises or try to predict a timeline but I do plan to make more of these. Thanks for watching.
