There is no app for Roku and it uses flash so you also can't play it through your playstation browser. I don't think there is an app for smart TV's at all. Android, Apple, Fire or Chromecast that's it, shit.

How about take time and check before you purchase something?

It required one google search and maybe 45 seconds to get the device compatibility list for their app.

Thanks for the info, guess I'll get one of those. I thought it would play in my Playstation browser but it needs Flash. I can watch first moto's on computer or run a HDMI cable to my TV.

How are you running this thru an Amazon Firestick? I have one of those but can't seem to locate the Gold App on it....

Get the Fire box over the Fire stick. I've got both and they both stream fine but guides and menus function must faster on the firebox due to the extra horsepower. Just FYI.

Can't get it on Xbox one either. Kinda sucks, because I have the NBC sports app on there, and I thought the gold package was just going to be a option through that app. Didn't realize it was a whole new app, which isn't available on Xbox.

I'm not saying you should have to, I'm saying before diving into this thing do a little checking so you don't get screwed. It sucks, but that isn't NBC's fault.

There is a separate NBC Gold app, look for it.

I'd sure like to understand why the app doesn't include MX on Roku.

I searched on Xbox for it yesterday, no results came up. I emailed NBC Gold too, but haven't gotten a response.

One other thing I don't get, is on my regular NBC sports app it shows no Motocross at all, but why can I not watch the 2nd motos on it, if I have one of the cable providers? For example, if I was out of town and wanted to watch the 2nd motos from my phone, I would have to pay the $50 for the Gold package. Doesn't really make sense to me why I would have to do that, if I already pay for the channel it's on. Maybe I'm wrong, or mistaken, but if that's the case, seems like robbery from NBC Sports.
(Note, I'm not just being cheap and bitching about $50, I bought the package already, just thinking out loud)

Don't wasn't your money on a firebox or firestick. Get a better quality box and get a mi box. Much better quality than those.

Let me sound like an old senile bastard, If I buy a fire stick and pay for content I can then watch the stream on my Samsung smart tv? What about recording the races?

Have you watched NBC gold on Mi Box? Does the Mi Box get the same apps as Fire Stick, it's a bit confusing.

You can watch the races until the end of the subscription, so you wouldn't need to record them unless you wanted the races for keeps. You can watch 2015 and 2016's races, the even had the Legends race in there. It's pretty cool except for the app availability stuff.

Really all it is is an Android box with access to the play store just like your phone. Most apps are compatible with it as your phone. The mi box is just a better performing platform to watch TV on. You'll get some lag and glitches with the firestick.

I haven't tried out the gold app yet. Just letting you know there's better options out there than the firestick for not much for money.

I appreciate the info! I'm an old computer guy who's kind of ignored all the new TV stuff, I want to drop Spectrum cable TV anyway so any information is much appreciated.
