Hello my friends

I just sold my KTM 250f and bought myself a 2004 Suzuki RM 125cc.

I would love to get some help and inspiration to make her look good or at least decent.

I am not going to get any new motor stuff since i am slow as f*ck.

So i would like you to link pics of good looking bikes or parts.

Stuff like plastic, graphic, grips, handlebars, hand protectors, colored hoses etc...

Big thanks in advance! Smile

It's all personal taste but I like the look of mid to late 90s MX bikes, I think modern bikes are too clean cut and boring. If it were mine I'd be going for something along the lines of the examples below (you can get things custom made in any style that will fit, these are just style examples of what I mean)....

Basically loud and eye catching but without being too messy.

I like this too...

There was a thread on here not too long ago dedicated to good looking RM's. I tried searching for it but couldn't come up with anything. I bet someone will be able to track it down for you though.

A mixture of the one pictured above and this would be off the charts.

I might not go with the blue motor but it would definitely have a blue frame.

That is the best looking later model RM I've seen!

Are those the stock forks from a 1996-1998?

That vintage One industries kit is nice... I wouldn't do blue engine, maybe the frame tho... and hell no to conventional forks haha...

Here ya go...

I'd keep silver rims just because they tend to stay cleaner and don't scratch up... But get some gold or yellow hubs, black spokes and a PC works or plat pipe with a 304 shorty... V-Force 4 and get someone to clean up the cylinder, squish the head.

Then ride it all the freaken time!

Also... I know the 91/92 bikes were hated, but there is someone who posted up a retro kit of that, and really, it did look good. If you're brave, you'll have a bike that pulls a lot of comments. the 92 RM125 was a great bike, would be cool to pay homage to it!

Yes they are. There's a thread on Vital that gives quite a bit of info on the bike. I can't find a link but maybe the builder will see this thread and chime in.

It's probably my favorite RM250 ever and I'm a huge fan of the '89-'90 RM's.

Check out www.enjoymfg.com for the graphics and seat cover for it! Got some sweet stuff and also got the Stewart replica kits for that bike along with the Stewart "bumblebee" seat cover

I love this bike! I have been on the lookout for an '96-'98 RM125 to do this to ever since I saw this picture. One day, i will do this exact bike.

I'm totally down with the blue one, too bad it doesn't have the blue frame I'm not sure why Suzuki ever went away from that.

Make her look good or, at least decent? Whisky has always done it for me.

Well first of you should really get rid of that hideous blue bar, it ruins the complete look of the bike.
Get the RMZ front nuber plate and fender. New graphics and plastics. A sexy pipe (Scalvini makes 'em). Aftermarket triple clamps would do the job too.

And if you have lots of spare time on your hands, paint the frame!
