These guys have battled all year long racing on replica tracks. The final moto came down to who ever finished ahead of the other would win the championship.

I actually randomly watched the first moto and caught the last 2 laps of the second moto. Crazy how it all came down to the last corner for the championship. I don't know anything about the racers but it seems like people really don't like the guy who initiated the contact at the last corner. Any more info on that? I feel really bad for the guy who made the pass on the last lap only to go out like that.

No one likes him because he is stupid fast and rides like a jackass taking everyone around him to the ground, doesn't help that he is from France with a bad connection and has the attitude of a 12 year old call of duty player.

To make it a long story short, he is from across the pond so his internet connection is a bit wonky when everyone gets together to race. So with the mechanics of the game, it gives anyone with a high ping a bit of a "bubble" around them. But the main reason is the rider you saw make the pass and clench the championship has a history of "dirty" riding to get to the front. It rubs people the wrong way but I think anyone in his position would've done the same thing here for the win.

I just watched that on start your systems tonight and it’s crazy how intense a simulated race can be lol. Really annoys me that I have a mac and have to jump through hoops to even play that game

it's got a legit physics engine. the graphics can be good if the PC is up to the task but it eats at the processor. Most people drop the graphics for online play. I have played this game for nearly a decade on and off. Once you get to the point of being comfortable it's incredibly rewarding and frustrating in equal measure.

The pro race you watched was on low graphics for frame rate reasons. The actual tracks look like the pictures if you turn the graphics up. Much much better than the video. Still not mxgp or mx vs atv but its good enough. The physics is what makes this game. If you understand riding in real life youll do good in this game.

Yea controller or you wont have fun. Ive tried all the ones from walmart and the ones from razer. The best controller is the xbox 1 elite. Its expensive but its worth every penny.

We'll probably see this televised on ESPN before we'll ever see any true SX/MX back on that network.

I caught a bit of Rocket League the other night (I'd never heard of it) and it was showing the payout for the top eight in the finals was $100,000! Seems pretty good for a sport where the only risks are a blister on your thumb or maybe tendonitis.

Serious question. Is there any plan to ever go to console with MX Sim?

I genuinely enjoy all mx games and would love to play but I don't have the time or money to build a gaming PC.

I never see this happening. You have to completely mod the game just to make it look like the way it does, literally everything in this game is downloaded off the web and you have to slap it in folders just to make it work, i dont ever see it coming to console for that reason. Also, chances are if you just have a normal pc you can play it, one of the least demanding games you could play with most tracks.

No as the whole game has been made by one guy called JLV. And he wont recode it to a unity game engine (Unity engines are what are used to created MXGP and Monster Energy SX games) so I am 99.9% sure it wont get put onto console.

You shouldnt need a gaming PC bud, i have a run of the mill PC thats about 8 years old now and the only thing i did to help the game run online mostly was threw a £100 dedicated graphics card at it and given how many thousands of hours of fun ive had (not exaggerating, its that addictive) on the game its easily money well spent
