How much did Glen Helen pay to host the USGP?

With MXA and Glen Helen being closely tied together, and MXA blasting Youthstream and Guiseppe Luongo in a recent issue, did they back off their stance any, given the recent developments? Did they sell out to the "Dark Side" of professional motocross? I wonder how much MXA will change their tune regarding the issue (I hope not much).

One of the main points of the MXA article was the exorbitant cost of hosting a Gran Prix. They estimated that the sanctioning fee was $435,000. Not including all the other "hidden" costs of hosting some 150 Youthstream staff, including full food and lodging, that was estimated to be an additional $50,000.

So, with the cost of putting in this shindig approaching a staggering half-million dollars, what did Glen Helen actually pay to get the event? And will the costs be handed off to the spectators, with higher ticket, parking, and concession prices?
