Haha I felt weird using the kickstand on my XC KTM when I first got it, and planned on taking it off. Well it's been a few years and it's still there. Just so damn useful.

BTW awesome bike! Enjoy it Cool

I have one of those, you'll love it.

Bolt on a pro circuit shorty and enjoy the glorious bottom end.

Yet these kickstands are raced for thousands of miles at GNCC races and no broken legs...

Think he meant broken kickstand, Ktm. Do clean up at a GNCC and you can mop up on stands gear lever and side covers.

I bought a KTM 200 EXC (GREAT bike) a few years ago and thought I'd
get rid of the stupid kickstand first thing. Cuz it's stupid and dangerous, right?
It's still there. Have not touched it. It is virtually NEVER in the way, never flops
around and is damn handy.

Been racing motocross since 1979. I would never ride a bike with a kick stand, even if I was trail riding. BUT bought a 16 YZ 250X about 4 months ago and I was going to take the kick stand off right away. It's still on and never coming off.

Congrat's Justin! Nice to see you on a new steed. You'll fall in love with it for sure. The suspension alone is a huge upgrade compared to what you've been running.

I used to be one of those guys who would never be caught with a kickstand on my bike. That all changed when I bought a YZ250FX.

Electric start and kick stands are freaking awesome.

Nice bike, enjoy!

My then-73 yo Dad bought a CR125 that "didn't have a kickstand." I could only imagine what the parts guy was thinking when he went to order one.

I refused to take it to Pala without pulling that thing off first.

Haha we'll see how long the kickstand stays on. It is awfully nifty, but I don't think I can take it to the track. Maybe if I practice some starts and rip a few holees.

Any easy mods? I have a kehin JD needle I had in the CR for a while, gonna throw that in. Eventually I'll get pipe, silencer, bars, etc to make it my own. It's great in stock form. As much as I love the old Honda, it was time for an upgrade.

Why can't you take it to the track? Let the haters talk, you ain't even gotta lift the bike onto a stand. Cool

Love those blue rims. Do the X models come with generators for lights?

Sweet bike!

I bought a kickstand for my KX450...I love the kickstand. I think they should come on all bikes...never had even one issue with it flipping around or ever getting in the way...everything from moto track, to 5th gear whoops across the desert, to major G-outs in the desert.

My brother just bought that same bike (coming off a YZ450). He frikkin loves it! He did put a lectron carb on it and that made a huge improvement. And he put an IMS tank on it, hand guards, and a skid plate...Otherwise he’s running stock suspension, not even a re-valve, and has made no other changes. He’s a very fast A rider in the desert (for reference...).

I’m 99% certain it will be my next bike...if it had an e-start I’d be 100% certain.
