looking to purchase an extended Moto van or box van. Needs to be able haul my family of four safely and pull my 7000 pound travel trailer. Garage area needs to hold a 450, 65 and 85. I know I’m asking a lot out of an extended van but I think it’s doable. not too worried about gas mileage. This way if I’m going for the day the van is perfect, weekends hook up the trailer and go. Let me know if you have or see anything please.

Freightliner sprinter. The old 7.3 ford vans are solid if you can find one.

What kind of trailer? As far as the Ford vans go, if you're pulling 7,000 lbs you better either have the diesel or the V10 and it better be an E350. No way in heck would I have wanted to pull a 7,000lb trailer with my E250 with 5.4.

We had a 3/4 ton Express with the 6.0 gasser. It was a total dog with a 28 foot travel trailer. And the 8 mpg sucked when fuel was 5 plus.

I have a dodge promaster 2500 long wheelbase. I added the rear seat, that came with seatbelts. It also came with the tow package and would easily hold all those bikes. V6, good on gas.

Transit 350 dually with the 3.5 twin turbo Eco-boost. I’m so impressed with this van! Had diesel pickups all my adult life and this van pulls this old heavy steel horse trailer better than any of them. Never slows down for hills and I’m not even pushing it hard. After living with a van I’m never going back to a truck.

Read your post again and realized your looking for a used van, not on advise what to get. Good luck! Vans are worth it.

They definitely aren't easy on the eyes but I think the Nissan NV has a pretty decent towing capacity too.

Sweet! I'm curious about the seat, where did you find it..install price..ect?

Can't go wrong with an extended econoline imo. enough room for the bikes and a small sleeping section up front.

Promasters seem great, but given the OPs towing requirements, I would be hesitant to recommend one.
