We wouldn't be sitting here blaming SX for all of our MXdN deficiencies. Cool

I was thinking that but thought I'd let someone else bring that up.

Most of us also more than likely wouldn't be looking forward to live racing every Saturday night once January rolls around...

I love Supercross, don't go back in time and get rid of Supercross.

If Goodwin wasn't framed he would still own SX.
He might still own it. read
Everyone hates Goodwin, although it's a known fact he didn't pull any triggers. I hate the shooter.

He didn't pull the trigger but he hired the guys who did.

We all or most of us might think that but not sure it's been proven as fact.

Too bad the French scene is also heavily focused on Supercross. And too bad that years ago we credited Supercross with helping US riders win at the MXDN, not hurting them. It's a BS excuse. Call me old fashioned, but I believe guys that get paid millions of dollars to race motocross should be very, very good at racing motocross.

I'm pretty sure he is guilty, BUT he was convicted with every bit of evidence being circumstantial evidence.

I don't know how you can do that with no physical evidence.

Goodwin would have had other concert promoters knocked off instead and would be in the same place. Evil

Sometimes circumstantial evidence is so over whelming it becomes obvious.

The dude was a great promoter. But he thought he was smarter than everyone else. That weakness (and criminal mindset) led him to believe he could pursue a personal revenge as well as release him from the large amount of money he owed MT by hiring puppets to carry out the killings and not get caught.

He had the motive. He had the opportunity. And they [detectives] have a good amount of evidence that connects him to plotting the killings.

Since he did not pull the trigger, in his mind he can say with a clean conscience, "I did not kill the Thompsons"

He sits today where he belongs. ..

All you need is a perponderonce of the the evidence and they had that. Micky Thompson was no angel and a ruthless businessman but that is not a crime. Goodwin is nothing more than a conman and will never see the light of day when he is still young enough to enjoy it,but will probably die in jail.

Now they are paid millions of dollars to race Supercross. That's where the money is and most of the top riders prefer SX to MX as it helps extend their career's.

If Mike had kept promoting rock concerts then Carmichael would have never almost hit that boat.

I think everybody knows SX pays more and it leads to longevity. Don't you care about motocross? I'm a fan, the rider's need to stack millions of dollars in the bank isn't that important to me or that inspiring to think about for more than about two seconds. You're missing the entire point of why the MXDN is an important event- it transcends all that. (Right now I am listening to Keefer saying on Pulp that the US riders were afraid of getting hurt for Supercross and that's why they rode so badly. I can't stand it- this is the worst meltdown I have seen since the liberals lost the 2016 election).
