Hahaha, oh I'm seeing too many funny comments on Vital today. I'm with you though some of this newer gear is getting ridiculous.

I do have to say that this is mainly a TLD issue, i feel like lots of other brands 2018 collections look pretty good! But TLD lost their mind while they were designing the 18 stuff....

The '18 Answer stuff like Bogle had at Budd's is very good. As in old school elegant. I approve.

The TLD horse jockey stuff is the worst MX gear I've seen yet. But as the advertising people say: " If people are talking about it, we've done our job".

Some of the Alpinestars stuff is getting sketchy IMO too but yes TLD are by far the most out there. Perhaps some people like it but for me the clean classy look is what I like to see in sets.

Have you ever been so good at something that you simply start gooning due to sheer boredom?
I get the feeling Troy is bored with designing gear. He's pretty much done it all.

And, Bogle's gear was on-point.

TLD is pushing the limits to try and create something radical. Like any other endeavor, that sort of thing usually ends in failure but sometimes results in a "next level" success.
I think the polka dots will be a fail, but that's just me.

Cairoli debuted that gear in Ottobiano GP earlier this year, really good looking!

Harlequin... LOL!

One thing for certain, it was really easy spotting #38 on the track at Budds Creek.

Every. Single. Year. this topic comes up.

Can't we all just agree that, yes there are some crazy/wild gear options out there (TLD example). And on the opposite end of the spectrum there is some more plain/traditional gear options (Answer example)

Can't we all recognize this and just move on and buy the gear you personally like?

No, but I've had to much acid and, well, it turned out kinda like that

mx 617, I think the OP meant IF you don't like polka dots here is a checkered outfit.
