It will take a bike failure or big get off for Brabec to lose it today, he's gotta be shitting himself from the nerves though. Haha

Why are these swing arm bolts breaking? I saw it happened to another KTM rider as well...has this been a previous issue on the 450 Rally?

Too much play in the swingarm? Chassis flex? Wish I was smart

Dutch Motorcycle rider is at the moment in critical situation, he broke his neck. What I've heard is that his hart and lunges stopped. CPR brought him back but at the moment his situation is like I already told critical, keep this motobrother: Edwin Straver in our prayers.

Dang it....it sounds like he had no heartbeat for 10 minutes before they resuscitated him. Hoping against hope for a good outcome for him...

Final Stage is just about to kick off.

It's been shortened to 166km due to some pipeline ditches across the course.

Ricky is starting 10th and should be in a perfect spot to key off others navigation and bring it home for the USA!

Go Ricky go!

I'll opine bad machining at the underhead causing a stress raiser or something dumb like insufficient thread causing the nut to bottom before it clamps up the frame and arm.

Amazing to go 18 years. Congrats to Braebec.

Will be interesting to see how long Honda push on in the event. They seem to change focus on different things every now and then after winning.

It is borderline moto-related news but some might find it interesting.

Former MX2 rider Axel Alletru, who was left paralysed after crash during 2010 Latvian GP, finished his first Dakar on the 7th place in Side-By-Side general classification and as a best rookie. That's what i call nuts.

So sad to hear. There is something about a helmet that amplifies your thoughts. I cant imagine riding 250 KM after seeing and experiencing that.
