So I live in Albany ny and run t4e in my stock 2016 ktm 250sxf, bike runs great never ran regular t4 so Idk if t4e is better or worse can anyone give any reports on the stuff and if u4e is even worth it if I can't get regular u4.4
I run t4 on my stock kx450
The Shop
U4e 113 octane is for modified higher compression than stock, is what I'm reading
The U4.4 fuel won't pass AMA testing if your racing where they test fuels after races
I've burned 10 gallons of T4E and works great. Do I feel a difference over normal T4...Not sure, but they will be the same price just a new better formula. Hopefully this info helps!
MS103 or the 110 works well with no remap.
Not sure on the T4 or T4e but would like to know.
Keefer said the T4e was a good fuel.
But T4E and T4 are made for direct pump replacement without needed remap. It's the least expensive pump replacement fuel I think from VP.
"With its higher octane rating, U4.4 is designed for use in stock and modified 2-stroke and 4-stroke applications"

I use U4.4 in my stock with pipe KX250F, CRF250, and have friends that use it in YZ250F with no issues yet.
Just like any other of VP's E fuel unless they changed their labeling, but all the other E fuels were Ethanol. Like U4 and U4E.
It's hard to find non ethanol in some states where MTBE is banned. Pretty soon it will be banned totally because retailers are supposed to verify it is used for racing only.
NOT Recreational off road. SO to avoid getting fined, they simply sell legal fuel.
It does say it requires changes tho, as in it's not a direct replacement for pump fuel which may be why it didn't work for you?
Pit Row
I've seen T4 poured into bikes at Factory Demos & a few shootouts.
T4/T4E gives EXCELLENT throttle response, consistent chemistry and oxygen levels (ox and some chemical levels at the pump aren't always consistent).
Sometimes when I want more energy (especially more Ox) I add 1 gallon of U4 to 2 or 3 gallons of T4 (2:1 - 3:1). On "lean" bikes I've gone as little as 4:1-5:1. Note: more Oxygen can often make the bike run a little bit leaner...or at-least give the same affect.
My injeceted Bikes seem to really like T4/U4 at 3:1. They run noticeably better and often have "snappier" throttle response. On the RMZ I run 4:1.
Good Luck!
Oh, my brother leaves U4.4 in his carb all the time, even through the winter sitting.
T4e is what ill be running.
Anyone try the MS103??
The u4.4 helped out my 250 with throttle response a lot and I'm looking for that on the 350 as well.
