Jace Owen ?

I read on facebook that he has been racing the AX series and things went so well he's gonna finish out the AX series and then go race supercross.

I hope he is getting paid nicely in arena cross. That series is headed nowhere right now.

Everyone else racing arenacross did not like reading that I bet.

I’m confused. I thought the Phoenix team went up in smoke? Now I see Owen, Freddy, and Teasdale are on it, and they have a big race rig. What did I miss?

He said last night in Greensboro that he would be racing SX, I think he might have said Atlanta would be his first race, not positive on which round he said....

How so?

Didn't necessarily go up in smoke, just dialed back a little. Decided not to fund a 450 rider and just doing 250 East, or that was the original plan until Jace decided he was going to win every single main event in the kicker arenacross series. So they have decided to finish that series before joining supercross at Atlanta.

I think it's pretty cool what that series has been able to do so far. From a somewhat localized series a couple years ago to securing a Fox tv deal now. We raced one in Denver two years ago. 28 kids in my sons 50 class. He scores a top 14 for the night show and ends up 5th that night and brings home a trophy. When the lights go off and the lasers start up and the music was playing... I was ready to puke i was so nervous and I wasn't even riding! All the local trophies he's won, to this day that's still his favorite because it means something to him. He earned that one.

I think it's cool Jace is riding it out. What you don't see on tv is all the kids racing all day and night right along with those guys and how much fun it is. Pretty infant stages and will only get bigger from here. Good for them.
