Sometimes I wonder if JS said fu to racing and the community. I like to think he's quiet because he'd rather make a solid decision about racing than to pander. He's obviously ignored questions for a long time but I doubt he hates on fans, even vitards. He's not perfect in a lot of ways but he's James Stewart ffs. If he shows up at Loretta's in ten years this place will look like Kawasaki barfed scrubbed out 125's all over an mx sausage fest for a month. We'll all wish someone like him still raced pro, and we'll assume that if James himself returned he would probably win a race. We'll place bets on his chances of beating Ricky in the vet class. All will be forgiven. For now he can rest, or think, or drive his fake cop car to the holiday inexpress room he paid for with the dreams of his fans. All will be forgiven, stamp it.

I’d say they have a fairly good understanding of the relationship the average Stewart fanboy has with reality. They’re easily exploited, believe anything and no matter how many times they are let down they keep coming back for more, tongue hanging like a desperate pup.

Three-rounds might be all he would last, but I doubt seriously that he would set his expectations that low. I think that, if James does race the SX series (and I doubt he will) he'll either do a press release at the proverbial last minute...or simply show up at A1 without anybody having a prior clue. That would be epic.
