Was it the bike's fault last year...when he rode around in 10th all outdoor season?

..... Burnin up the track in the main ...all the way up to a 10th place finish.... Wait no, he started the race in/around 10th and pretty much stayed there. Thats impressive for last years 'clinched it early' 250 champion seeing as how hes regarded as a cut above the rest.

Not exactly a fan but whatever. The Gibbs have more patience than I ever would, I’d clean house.

To have this much bad luck, don’t you almost have to make it?

What a joke, JGR should can him now and save some cash.

He let the title he was lucky to win last year go to his head, his embarrassing outdoor season should have been a sign.

I hope for JGR sake they can get out of giving him a 450 ride next year cause that will be a waste of time, money and resources as well.

I think Hill thinks the EXACT same thing.

It being "unloaded" from the Suzuki truck twice was "a bit too often".

He finished 7 seconds ahead of Phil on the same bike. Can’t blame the bike.

Hill is good when his head is good. His confidence took a hit last weekend and he did not recover. One more disappointing round and he’s going to be checked out of this season early. Shame. I think red plates always look best on yellow bikes but it’s not happening this year.

Im sure that bike isnt slow. It might not be putting factory ktm numbers up there but im sure its on par with everyone else. Ive seen local tuners doing better then stock ktm numbers on rmz250s. It set up. Its either off or he is trying to compensate for somthing else chassis wise.
this is possible. Many guys have switch from one bike to another trying to the that same "feel" or handling and it just cant be done. Even Jmart talked about this last year on his switcht to honda, and trying to get it to feel like his yamaha.

Suzukis tend to like an even balance on chassis and his bike looks like its hanging in the back.

Maybe he should put the guitar away and stop posting those douchebag guitar videos

Yeah, how dare these guys have other hobbies! They need to only ride motorcycles like robots, strictly for our enjoyment.

How can't JGR/Showa people see what everyone else seen at track with rear suspension? Seems even privateers got bikes working better than JGR with 250f.

I think you'll find it's RG3 doing the 250 stuff for JGR

Not as good as you want him to like his brother. Let it go.

Agreed: and, the bike was fast enough to qualify #1 last weekend.

JGR always seems to go in the wrong direction on setting up bikes or adding too many of their custom work.

I hope his contract has stipulations for next year. After his lackluster performance during outdoors and the first two races this season, he just doesn’t seem to want it as bad.

I could understand the bike being what could be holding him back from winning if he was getting say 3rd or 4th, but not at an uninspiring 7th and 10th with no crashes. At Houston, he looked (IMO) significantly worse than Anaheim.

Edit: On a side note, would this be considered paying for negative advertisement by Suzuki? Essentially to any potiential 250f buyer, you may now be lead to believe that you will be slower and uncompetitive on an rmz? Just a thought

Was it the bike when he was absolutely terrible outdoors last year? The old Suzuki was fast enough to be the top qualifier last week. I tend to think it's more the guy riding it than the bike.
I think it's a combo of Hill just not being the best guy and an ill handling setup. McElrath and Plessinger were the only two Hill had to deal with last year. McElrath had a DNF due to mechanical and Plessinger crashed out of a race. It was never going to be Hill's title IMO. Way stiffer competition this year with AC, Savatgy, etc.

A bike is only fast when you twist the throttle and it didn't look like he was twisting it too much. He just seemed very uncomfortable out there. Seemed very unsure of the track, bike setup, or himself.

You could argue that prior to Suzuki he would have won even with the flat tire. Keep your chest in for a bit longer, you’re gonna hurt yourself.

If Nicoletti beats him next week on the same bike, will it be the Suzukis fault as well?
he was on one of the best teams and went to Suzuki. Should have known better or at least tested the bike properly before.
Even if the bike is as bad as some people say, there's only one guy to blame
