I imagine there's a correlation between the volume in the header/mid pipe, and the shorter muffler

Am I the only one that's noticed they've been doing this for years?

It’s nothing new for the 450.

Its just like the powerbomb on the fmf. The pipe has a bunch of holes drilled in it under that chamber and the exhaust can leak out into that chamber just like on other exhausts and it decreases noise where you can make a more powerful and flowing pipe without it being crazy loud.

But some 450 bikes don't have resonance chambers?

Yeah, me too. For about 5 seconds I found it interesting that a manufacturer would put any other logos on their bike. I then realized it's the Factory Edition and the factory team seems to go by RedBull first, KTM second.

Have to wonder if KTM would be where they are now without RedBull money. I mean KTM as a manufacturer not a race team.
