Someone on a PC - feel free to embed for me.

I can confirm that Bird Scooters are tested by me to clear at least 2 steps. They’re a little twitchy and could use a few teeth in the rear sprocket, but for an amateur rider they’re great.

I'll be fine with them when all the videos of people crashing on them start to surface.

They are all over Nashville.

What will be great is when the SX Crowd goes downtown to party and starts riding or racing these from bar to bar.

It's not that type of scooter. They are electric and designed to get around the city.

Reminds me of my Go Ped I had to buy in the 1980's after crashing the demo model in Vegas and breaking the handlebars.

I understand it's not the "freestyle" razor ones, but people will still bring those dumb ass things to the park.

Edit: I thought these were another brand of e-scooters. They are banned in Seattle so I had no idea until checking these things out today after work.

Dude I’m a process operator and some would say my job is sketchy - but you ride the waterways on a big floating pressurized tank/tanks of LNG or some other flammable shit - kudos to you sir - probably the first to do the new obstacle at your local track as well I’d bet as long as your balls don’t get in the way. ? - welcome to Galveston - keep that thing afloat and vapor tight while you’re here please.

I was riding the ferry across from Bolivar to Galveston. Laughing That was a nice shiny and bad ass boat so a Kodak moment was in order. Midnight here should be a blast, sooooo many people going all in on fireworks along the beach.

I loved using the bird scooters when I took a trip down to Santa Monica about a year ago. I just flew in and started there for a few days and never needed to rent a car, take very many Uber’s/taxis and I only spent a few bucks being able to zip all up and down the coast of Santa Monica and Venice.

A lot of people are careless though and I can see why they’d be annoying.

I think they are fine in cities, but they've recently been making their way into rural neighborhoods here I personally think they are an eyesore and should be kept out of rural neighborhoods, especially when people just toss them on the ground when they are finished.

They are all over Memphis. I wonder how many DUIs will be issued on those things? That would be hilarious to see some dude get pulled over on a scooter.

I was at the Pearl last Friday and I can confirm they are everywhere. It was worse than a group of 125 Novices in the mud.

I can also confirm that they have been thoroughly stress tested by the fat chicks in San Antonio. Seems they are pretty durable.
