Kx250 1994

I have a kx250 1994 and have just adjusted the needle from number clip position to number 3 position , I briefly ran for around 30 seconds and cut out and is now yet to fire up seems rather odd! Any help will be appreciated.

Changing clip positions isn't going to cause a non run condition. why did you move it in the first place? What was it doing to cause you to adjust?

Stupid but is the gas valve turned on? Fuel in tank?

I've seen posts about changing the clip position for specific pipes for example I have a fmf fatty gold pipe and yeah gas in tank and tap on although that is a easy mistake aha

Compression is fine and float bowl fills fine with fuel as I undo the Bing at bottom and fuel runs out a lot , just put the clip on needle in the original place and it's not making any difference

Is the spark plug wet when you pull it out? If its dry then you are dealing with a fuel delivery problem, plugged jets etc. This just recently happened to me on our generator which doesn't get much use had fuel in the float bowl but the plug was bone dry and it had a plugged jet.

As mentioned above if its wet good chance its flooded, hold throttle wide open and kick over

Plug is dry , float bowl fills fine, idle screw it all but all the way in, air mix screw is 2 turns out , just can't pin point the fault.

Check the piston return spring. Its a common cause of starting issues with that bike....

The plugs isn't completely dry it's damp as if it's getting fuel but it's not soaking like if it's over oiled or fueled, all I did was a just the needle however it's back to how I found it , I found the main jet in lower carb not done all way up, I've tightens it slightly , idle screw in as far as it can go sir screw out 2 turns getting a spark compression seems fine I just have no idea!
