the other day. When I start it, it runs fine and all but when I put it away, I’ll go and come back to see like 3 drops of this blackish liquid on the floor. This doesn’t happen when the bikes been sitting there unused. It only happens after I was running it. Again, it’s not like a steady leak, it’s 3 drops and done.

Black spooge out the power valve vent pipe.

Jetting maybe a tad rich, or due a top end refresh, but generally nothing to worry about.

On older two strokes like that, you've got to be careful because the powerband will leak depending on which color it has.
What kind of oil are you running inside your exhaust?

2003 had the red powerband but who knows what's in it now. The purple powerband tended to run rich on older models so check and see....

No such thing as a red powerband?.... What are you smoking? '02 and '03 both had Yellow. They used Purple from '04 - present to prevent the leaking intake valve problem.

I always preferred an aftermarket powerband. My favorites, depending on conditions, were the hot pink and blue powerbands.
