Hi all,

I thought about starting a MXGP thread as there is already one for America.

Have you heard any rumours regarding changes in team lineup‘s?

Yamaha Wilvo:
1) Jeremy Seewer
2) Not yet confirmed. Paulin or Tonus?
I personally don‘t think that Glen Coldenhoff will leave Standing Construct and Red Bull
3) Seems that there is currently no OK from Yamaha.

Yamaha MX2 Kemea:
1) Jago Geerts
2) Maxime Renaux (Not official confirmend yet)

SM Action Migliore Yamaha:
MXGP:
1) Henry Jacobi? (Contract up)

MX2:
?

Gebben van Venrooy Yamaha?
?

Honda MXGP:
Remains unchanged

KTM MXGP & MX2:
Remains unchanged

GasGas MXGP:
1) Glen Coldenhoff?
2) Ivo Monticello?

GasGas MX2:
1) Simon Längenfelder?
2) Jeremy Sydow?
Husqvarna MXGP:
1) Armin Jasinkonis
2) Thomas Kjer Olsen (Not yet confirmend)

Husqvarna MX2:
1)I think Beaton‘s contract runs through 2021
2) Kay de Wolf will move up from EMX250

Kawasaki MXGP:
1) Romain Febvre
2) Clement Desalle

Kawasaki MX2 F&H:
1) Moosdijk
2) Boisrame
3) Haarup

4) Pootjes?

Suzuki MXGP?
Very silent after hearing some rumours last year that they will be back in 2021

I heard a rumour a couple weeks ago that some teams are using engines from America. (I don‘t believe that as there are different rules/fuel but maybe someone of you knows more)

1) Geerts is using an Star Racing engine
2) Moosdijk and Boisrame are running an PC tuned engine

Looking forward to your inputs :-)

Stay safe

Back in 2018, 114 got an early spec that FC gave/sold of them but they never updated the spec as FC went along. Since then, I believe they’re doing their own stuff or have someone over there helping it along. They may get some parts from over here but it’s not a FC engine.

It was only for Hunter Lawrence, who was somehow already under contract with FC Honda.
Since then, Team114 got absolutely nothing from FC.

If I remenber well, I read that there is a real chance that at some point Vialle leaves Europe to rejoin USA series. From next year ? I do not think, but maybe.

Did Covinngton sign a 2year deal?
I would assume his position in that team is far from safe, unless hes bringing some $$$$$ with him?
Where would he go? I think he is a great rider,as he showed in the MX2 GPs a couple of years ago,but unfortunatley I cant see a spot for him based on his 2020 results

There is no plan actually for Vialle to come to America.

Kyle Webster will be keen to impress when he makes his fill in debut for JM Honda at Mantova. Be good to see him pick up a full time ride next year. More Aussies for us to watch.

What i've heard regarding changes

Yamaha Wilvo
- Seewer
- Coldenhoff (big big paycheck base salary, + monster energy athlete salary on top of that. Monster pays more then RedBull but RedBull is more loyal to their riders). Would be a big step from what he has now

Paulin and Tonus free agents. Didn't hear about a third rider

Husky
- Jasikonis
- Olsen

Jonass free agent apperently

Kawi
- Febvre
- Desalle shopping around for something else. This normally was his final year

GasGas
- Monticelli i dont know
- Coldenhoff will leave (not on bad terms ofcourse)

No changes in HRC. Evans and Gajser remain in position

This leaves a few guys without factory contracts + Watson and few others coming from MX2.

Anybody know if this is Cairoli’s last year? You can NEVER count TC222 out, and with Herlings perhaps out for awhile, he’s got a good chance of going out with a bang.

With Watson going 450, Renaux is a great signing, he has been very good this season.

Is this Boisrame's final year in mx2? If he is aged out, i'll wonder who will get the F&H spot. I'm a bit biased on this one - because a friend of mine wrenches for them - but the young Spanish kids Farres and Braceras are really good. Especially Farres, that kid has style for days

What about Pootjes, will F&H run a 450 for him next year ?

I heard he broke a collarbone signing the contract... but seriously, he looks like he is made of chalk, so many injuries now, its going to be hard to recover to get a decent seat.

Every year the MX2 age rule goes on there are just more and more good riders who are going to end up in the dumpster.

I think all three riders currently riding for F&H will stay for next year.

Not really silly season but also not worth a new thread:

Does anybody know what's going on with Brian Hsu? I thought he'd be lining up today in Grevenbroich for MX Masters alongside Ekerold.

I also heard that he's been in talks with diga procross to replace sydow or Längenfelder in MX2. Not sure if that's true or if he's even able to get out of his Suzuki contract. I think it would be his last MX2 season anyway because of the age rule.

What Suzuki contract. He has been a free agent for ages.
