LOL
Kid; I've got $300 what can I buy that'll make me faster?
Old fart; Buy $300 worth of gas and run it through your bike that'll make you faster.
I also thought it was great that the old Husky owners manual said as much about personal fitness as it did bike maintenance. Any one remember those?
I thoroughly enjoyed all 20mins of that! Thanks so much for sharing
I still want my anodized orange sprocket.
its such a fresh take on everything
like when they go down, i know that they said that they curse when it happens and its
something stupid, but it was refreshing to see them go down and say stuff like "woo hoo"
and "almost!" and just get up and throw the leg over the bike completely cool and
unfrustrated.
The Shop
Dirtbike people are cool. These two old dudes are prime examples.
great guys! best quote, YOU CAN GET TO RIDING OR YOU CAN GET TO DIEING!
I ride as much as I can and these gentlemen really inspire me.
now I want to ride this Saturday! Makes you remember how cool it is just to go riding.

Pit Row
THat is Paul Rodden... I've known Paul for 15 years and have ridden with him dozens of times, quite a few in Colorado.
He is such an amazing person and one of the kindest people you'd ever meet.
I didn't have any idea this documentary existed.
Paul used to race OCCRA here in Oklahoma where he lives.
About once a year I meet up with a group of "Old Dudes" from all over the USA. Washington, Colorado, Alabama and we either meet in Moab Utah, or Mt St Helens, Idaho or Colorado and ride for a week. There is no better deep trail riding than Mt St Helens. Trust me on that one.
Im the baby of the group, Im 39. They are all 55 or older. The fastest one is Bill from Washington hes 67. These guys are straight bad asses. Some of our riding stories are beyond epic! Been in some very heavy situations. We did Mexico one week and covered 1200 miles in 4 days. I was run off the road by a Bull Cow and on my head in a ditch for a while before they tracked me back. I have saved one of them from hanging off a cliff in Washington on one trip, he could have died. They all only ride 2 strokes. I am the only one on a new 450 as I only ride tracks here in OC unless I go to do one of these trips with them. They all wear tons of protective gear, but me being the cool guy always look like Im racing SX haha. I always end up on my head long before these guys do. I think they keep inviting me for the laughs.
I consider them some of my best friends even though we only see each other once a year. Right now I miss them and can't wait for our trip in the fall. These guys just keep chuggin. I hope to be like them when I grow up.
fantastic video!!!!
Post a reply to: Maybe the coolest vid I've seen. These guys get it
