That's awesome. Really impressive what those bikes can do in the right hands.

19th in the Pro division equates to 116th overall? Man, there must be some fast amateurs there. Good on him. I race a vintage hare scrambles series here in PA, and we have a regular that rides a '72 Triumph twin in the woods. Dude flies on that old bucket.

Serious question - is that thing running a rear tire on the front?

I have a friend that rides +45A and is a really fast local and was 106th overall. Those big national off road events are deep. I know I have my ass handed to me on several occasions.

It's has zero to do with "those bikes." Dude could run my '72 Zundapp with the ignition timing set to run pointing back towards the start the whole time to a mid-pack finish.

I'll check when I see him next race at the end of August. But it's a 19 inch rim, so I've got to think that ya, it's a rear tire.

No the 1090 R runs a 21/18 combo. The standard 1190 had the 19 inch front.

I wish he would of worn a GoPro. That's freaking awesome. Quinn Cody did a National Hare and Hound this year on one. These are men.

I'm responding to the question that followed the link, so I'm assuming he's asking about the Triumph in the story.
