This is how it has to be in sales. Too many people bullshit these guys and they have to take an immediate deal (not that you were doing that). I'm sure the salesman didn't want to have to deal with calling you and getting yelled at. It's not like it used to be IMO due to the buyers as much as the sellers. This scenario does suck as the seller though. I'm in sales and it is a shitty call to have to make. Hopefully the salesman did his job and explained that he needs a deposit to hold it. Motorcycle salesmen don't really rake in the money so i'm thinking they don't get the top salesmen.

yeah dude, you should have put a deposit on it. Too many bullshitting buyers for the salesman to hold the bike on an "I'll be there later" promise. He gave you a chance, sucks that you missed it but guess what, life's not fair, toughen up. There will be other goldwings

I bought a Suburban from a salesman who was competing with his coworker on the sale. I didnt know it at the time, but another guy was in the next cubicle buying the same Suburban from another salesman. My paperwork went through first. The other guy went ballastic.
