Need to start working on this, even though it appears parts will cost me more than a new 50.

It has, for the most part. A buddy got divorced and moved to DC and gave it to me. Probably
Just need to take it apart and go from there.

I have a QA myself, but haven't ridden it since the mini craze hit and I bought another 50. I've looked into restoring it many times, but it would cost more than it's worth. I could buy another fully restored for what it would cost me. Yours on the other hand looks pretty good and wouldn't take too much work. Not so easy finding fenders these days that don't cost a fortune!!

Who cares how much it would cost. Get that thing back to mint condition and that would be sweet. IF you can afford it, do it ASAP !!

Mine was way worse than that one and I didn't spend much to fix mine up.

^ Sweet!

The fenders are definitely the most expensive pieces. Think I'll probably get the frame and other pieces powdercoated black then rebuild the engine. It was supposed to be a bike for my boy but I doubt I'll want him to scratch it! haha
