Hey guys,

For the first time ever i bought a flatscreen tv, a samsung smart tv at that. I bought the chromecast ultra as my brother recommended.

I used it this weekend to cast the nbc sports gold app from my phone and holy shit, mint bro mint.

What is the best method to cast MXGP racing? I tried casting videos and other stuff in my browser and the quality is shit. It looks better on my laptop screen than what casts to my tv. I dont want to buy the races and end up casting a blurry pixelated laggy mess.

im using a 4k uhd smart tv with chromecast, using a windows laptop.

I never tried casting from my phone since I have an Amazon Fire Box, but I do cast from my laptop for MXGP. My old router was a cheap one and would drop the connection a lot or just be really laggy. I bought a NetGear Nighthawk router and it's been smooth as butter ever since. I also cut the cord so I wanted a better router for streaming TV as well through Fire Box and Fire stick. Plus my old router was 4-5 years old and needed an update

Seems that Ive heard issues with Chromecast, in particular. Maybe its better on Roku.

You could HDMI tether.

Sorry to say I have been down that road with no luck. I tried to cast races from browsers on both a PC and Mac, just to jittery for me. Maybe someone can chime in that has gotten it to work smooth.

I went to mirroring my iPhone to Apple TV and it has worked great. Super smooth.

I would connect and HDMI cable from a laptop if I was you.

If you subscribe to YouTube TV* you can see the MXGP races on CBS sports.

I just watched the race from Sweden- the quality is perfect casting to a Visio 4K.

I can chrome cast mxgp races perfectly. Are you clicking the cast icon on the video player or are you trying to mirror the tab?

Not sure how chrome cast works but most video stuff will downgrade the quality to match the speed of your connection.
