It has been reported widely that he has been working hard with Randy Lawrence. Interesting.

Who knows. I doubt RL would give him the time if he doesn't work hard.

What is the Jason/Randy team? If you are talking about Jlaw, Randy wanted nothing to do with him after Daytona.

Damn what a shame. I just wonder how this works from a legal perspective? You think there's some kind of clause in the contract saying "rider may be denied seat if effort put in is insufficient as deemed by the team owner" ? I'd love to know how that goes. Anyways, shame he's not riding, I thought he was just about to turn it around. Will be interesting to see this one unfolds.

Maybe he was overtrained and that's why he got tired on race day?

Think about it? Some people on here think it's possible.
Do you purposely try to make yourself sound like a squid?

I think you are confused, it was reported the Randy quit working with J-Law because he didn't want to follow his program.

Bet this kid is wondering what the hell happened to his career.. . Did he ever win an SX before his savage heel injury?

I think you are correct There is to much young talent coming up right now.

Izzi has had a bunch or injuries and they might of taken there toll on him mentally and physically.

I think Izzi should try the 450. Look at what Metty has done so far. He has been very Impressive.

Has a team benched a rider before?
He was in 3rd place at Freestone until he got dehydrated. I would call that effort!

I hope there is more to this than just a lack of effort on his part. Seems like he would be more motivated now than ever.......or not.

What do they expect to gain benching him? More motivation? I don't think Izzi will be riding with that team anymore.

Wow that should be a wakeup call......Not that I dislike the guy but he really doesn't seem to be taking racing seriously as if he got the rockstar mentality too quick. I wouldn't count him out for good though he'll quickly learn he has to make a paycheck and give it a little more effort.

Izzi has looked like he needed to find a gym since he turned pro. I wonder what has changed all the sudden. He's never looked very fit. Seems like an odd move.

I agree that maybe he should try a 450. If he is out of shape a 450 won't help that, but Nico seems to have a naturally strong build that might work better for a 450.

Looked pretty fit before the SX season. I think his injury is still bothering him.

I heard today from a pretty reliable little birdie that Nico is having a real hard time with pain pills ever since his heal injury. For sure a problem I understand better than most and hope it's not true.

I heard the same thing.....hope he figures his shit out. those things are basically a synthetic heroin when taken in large doses. He does look like a pudgy lil dude right now to....BUT , it looked like to me he was riding pretty well for being gone for so long.
