Only $10 for all 2024 SX, MX, and SMX series (regularly $30).
Keep in mind most of the talent is funneled into the 450 class in the GPs with the age rule. If we did the same here, the 450 class would be extremely competitive.
But of course in the USA the 250 guys in their economic best interests stay in that class to make all the money they can and tend to only move up if forced or if a sweet plum of an offer comes along. The OEMs are OK with this as 250 sales are very important.
I imagine the OEMs make more profits from 250 sales than 450 sales. If so, they will keep guys in the 250 class to rack up wins and championships. Back in the 2-stroke days, I imagine 250 was the most profitable bike size as well.
Could 250 be the best size for a motocross bike? Should 250 be the premier class with a 125 support class?

Tomac has competed in 3 GP's. His moto scores were 1-1, 1-1, and 1-3. Yup that is a guy that would be lucky to be in the top 10...
I agree with you by the way.
