I have a big box of Road Champs still in the boxes up in the other attic. Think there are a few of the Hot Wheels ones as well including the McGrath. Who is interested. Got others that didn't get flooded too, just need to locate them. Bought a lot of that stuff over the years and now it's just clutter.

How are you doing since the flood? I hope you and your family are all doing well and getting your life back to normal. I have been thinking of you since the flood and wondering how your home and your collection of motorcycles, parts, and all your other stuff are after the flood. I have always enjoyed seeing your photos on this forum. I sold you a lot of vintage stuff on Ebay from 2001-2007. You were always a great person to deal with on Ebay and I always enjoy your posts on Vital. I wish you nothing but the best in the future.
Thanks for the kind words! We are doing fine and the repairs to the house are coming along sooner than expected. Just getting over the initial shock of seeing most all of what you own sitting in 2 foot of nasty water was the worst part. Makes one realize that they have too much "stuff" and that a good cleansing is in order...lol. Fortunately the water only got up to the hubs and bottom of the engines on most all the bikes so things definitely could have been a whole lot worse as there were houses 10 foot deep in areas that have never flooded before. Just a weird ass storm. The past four years have been solid with completely remodeling the house, pool and working to finish my shop here at home. Now get to redo it all in a matter of months. Going forward, the worst part will be shopping for furniture. That will require plenty of alcohol...Laughing

Oh man Newmann... I just gasped out loud. But like you alluded to; there's always someone who has it worse. You're a blessed man. Good luck getting everything sorted

Not technically a toy, but this still occupied hours and hours of my time when I was younger. Had MC sign it at Steel City in ‘97

Newmann.... Wow glad your getting things sorted....

I have a few pieces, I have a large collection of the new ray bikes but they are currently boxed due to construction work at home... Have a few rare/odd bits in my workshop....

I also have the board game that came out 4-5 years ago but again it's boxed away along with a couple of other oddities....

I still have a Greeves Challenger MX4 my dad bought me from Nut Tree outside of Sacramento way back in 1965. I don't have a picture of mine but here is the same toy I found on-line. Mine doesn't have the rider. I have carried that thing all over the world being in the Air Force for 28 years. I can't believe I haven't lost it. It's small only about 3 inches in length.

That's really cool! That has to be one of the oldest MX toys made.
This thread delivers!

Newmann, I'm glad you and your family are alright and getting things sorted.

I had these when I was a kid, Maico's too! I'd put my little G.I. Joe's on them.

EDIT: And these two.

I have probably half of my collection of Hot Wheels and Road Champs from when I was a kid. I was giving them one by one to my 3 year old as special gifts until I gave them all to him. The problem is my younger son (18 months) got ahold of and destroyed the handlebars on most of them. They love playing with them so I just accepted the fact they can't last forever. I have 2 splitfire bikes still new in the packaging that they arent allowed to have though.

I had those exact same 4 bikes Ezza. I would paint them to match the current year factory bikes and remember having to hold them with two hands because the wheels and steering stem would get so worn down. Literally spent hours and hours playing with those things.

Good times.

Mine aren't really vintage besides a couple of the snowmobiles. I do have some pretty cool pieces though, the MXS Ricky Carmichael in the box on the right has an orange sticker on the bottom that says Dealer model, not for sale, and the hotwheels on the top each have 2 little dirt bikes in the back. I always seem to end up with doubles of everything haha.

I still have an RC on a KX 250 unopened with the little piece of track.

I wonder what it's worth now?
