Umm anyone remember this guy climbing back on and casually clearing the double after a crash that would destroy most mortals?

I’ll throw Taylor Robert in the mix
He’s been on both winning USA ISDE teams, has won his class/been top 3 in the world the past 4 years at ISDE, and had a 3 year undefeated streak in worcs going until he lost this year to Zach Bell.
He used to battle Webb and Haaker in endurocross, and I’m sure given some practice would be a main event sx and top10-15 outdoor guy.
X2 for Taylor...he's amazing

I qualified for a 500 national in 1990, all the big names were there, Johnson, Stanton, O’mara, Ward, so staten was the only guy that intimidated me

Toby Price. He is an animal, and has had some horrific injuries, and keeps coming back and winning. Dude won the Dakar this year with a broken wrist!

Shane Watts. In one year he won a GNCC on every off road bike KTM made. Bikes were all basically stock. He's got to be in the mix at least for off road guys.

Most "Gnarly" on a bike --- I suppose that could be taken within all disciplines.

1. Malcolm Smith. I still see him as the original "Mr. Do It All" and do it at a high level within his competition.
2. Ryan Sipes
3. Taylor Robert

As far as who's the most 'unreal' on a dirtbike? That belongs to Graham Jarvis. I'm pretty sure he breaks the laws of physics.

If you want gnarliest dude on a bike period Tom Pages, Robbie Maddison and my all time pick...Josh Sheehan...who else does a triple backflip 90’ in the air to a plywood landing?

Yup, Huey help the Endurocross and Extreme riders if he chooses to cross over when he retires from World Trials. Though, I'd say he could retire completely with the megabucks ( if any of you think he's paid peanuts because you aren't into Trials - well you'd be wrong) he would have made through so many titles - 26, so far.

A few years ago I saw video of him on an Endurocross circuit - Barcelona, I think, so it was one of the then World rounds - and he was blindingly fast, even on a trials bike. Not 'trialsing' it, but going ballistic. And, in many of the hundreds of videos of him out there, he pins it in a Big way, at times. He seems to have absolutely no problem with the speed side of things.

I think it’s funny how Ryan Sipes is thrown into this conversation so often. Huge respect for the dude and he hands down has probably covered the most ground as far as being competitive in multiple disciplines in motorcycle competition. But ‘competitive’ doesn’t make him close to the gnarliest guy around. There are probably twenty guys currently that could go out and blow his doors off in an off-road race, hill-climb, flat track etc. There just hasn’t been that many dudes who have crossed over... shoot even fat Ricky could probably handle him in just about all the categories I just listed.

A lot of gnarly dudes listed but I have to give the nod to RC with Pastrana a close 2nd. I will add the best/most versatile racer is Jeff Ward hands down.
