Pants for non knee brace wearer.

The last few pairs of pants I’ve brought have had really large knee area. I don’t wear braces so they wear out fast. Anyway I’m new to the page so thought I’d ask all you legends. Cheers

+1 wear knee braces. I've had 2 offs in the last 2 years where I'm almost certain without them I'd have at the very least twisted it. Theyve pretty paid for themselves really!

Any pants will work. Ive worn thor for years with no issues. Pants are pants lol.

I will say after breaking my knee ill have braces on. Not that braces would have prevented that injury in the first place.

Protect your knees man. The wrong injury can ruin your riding season or shorten your riding career.

I've tried a lot of braces and non of them fit my legs like PODs. CTIs gave me bad blisters.

For riding without braces, most of the pants have come a long way with the inclusion of more panels and more elastic, so they fit with or without braces.

If you are still stuck, take a look at some of the BMX pants offered by the mx companies. Fly Racing is one that I can think of that makes a bmx version of it's moto pant.

Get the braces, all it takes is one awkward crash and you’re wishing you had them on. I’ve worn knee braces since I was 10 and won’t ride without them. My father had 3 knee operations by the tine he was 30 and I’m not trying to be in that spot. Just my 2 cents

I've found that Fox 180 pants are much smaller in the knee area than the 360s.

If your not going to where braces then +2 on the BMX pants. Fly along with a couple others make the same style gear as the mx stuff except more slim fitting.
