Growing up in the 90's meant that I got to experience the evolution of Mx games. From EA Sports Supercross, to MTX Mototrax, to the popular Mx Vs Atv series and now Milestone games.
I was extremely competitive with all these (and still are today LOL) and I got the bug to play Reflex this week for the first time in 8 years. It's pretty unreal to think what THQ and Rainbow were able to develop back in 2009.
Since the release of Reflex we've had a fair share of Mx games hit the shelves; but nothing IMO can even come close to the physics and feel of this game. Why in the world can Nordic and Milestone not master this? It has been almost 10-years of people demanding and saying the exact same thing.
I know the whole story behind Mx Vs Atv with THQ and codes getting lost, company closing, and etc. And I know the MX Sim boys and gals are going to come on here but I am just talking about console games.
What do you guys think it is going to take for one of these companies to deliver a game that will remove Reflex off the top spot for a very large amount of players? Milestone is working hard, but still ignoring their major flaws. Nordic definitely brought "free" physics to All Out but still missed what the majority of consumers were looking for (again IMO).
Thoughts?...

Just my opinion. The only thing Reflex does better is terrain deformation.
MES is a favorite of mine as well.
I hope that eventually they can get back to something like Alive and Reflex. Those games were amazing!
On a serious note, a company needs to put funding in to make a game like mx sim with the supercross game graphics. Add in an “easy” mode for people who dont like mxsim physics. I think that would be the ticket.
I havent enjoyed a mx game since atv off road fury 2 or mx vs atv unleashed. Mx sim is the only one that feels good anymore.
The Shop
i also played it recently and it's like sliding around on ice, things have come a long way that's for sure.
Pit Row
Top 3:
Reflex
Fury 2
Unleashed
I bought a PS4 purely to play mxgp and supercross as they came out at a similar time to each other a year or so ago. I don’t think I’ve spent more than a couple of hours on either game.
Saw supercross new game is coming out. Looked at the gameplay and you can see again the bike looks like it handles poorly and the whips/ scrubs are naff.
The current games are better in every way except the handling and gameplay if they could get that right they’d be onto a winner, I agree if they can get it right 10 years ago why has it gone backwards
No, mxgp pro is not a simulator or "realistic" by any stretch of the imagination.
