Still loving my transit 12 passenger. Just got it tinted out today with full ceramic for heat reduction and privacy. Really lucked out finding this van when I did and for the price it was looking at what these are going for these days.

Man I kick myself now for not picking up a transit a couple years back when I was shopping. I love my express and I did get a great deal on it but I'd love to have the extra headroom in the back. I just can't justify the $30+k min for a transit now.

I have to say we have really appreciated the windows. I used R tech isolation cut to fit with plastic on the inside to protect from a handle bar poking out window. When at GH and hot we remove them, turn on the AC, pull out the camp chairs, turn on the radio tuned to the broadcast and watch the racing. Mines set up for the blue collar tradesmen / Moto wanna be.

Have an appointment to add a layer of 5% exterior ceramic. With the factory tint we will be good to go.
Inside will have molly panels to keep moto bars off the glass.

Major score on this 95 g20 Chevy van white the color I wanted with low miles 101,500 . Owned by a retired technical college mechanic instructor. Rare that the ladder , spare and roof rack is intact. The roof is perfect . It needs tires I,m installing the deep well hurricane wheels from the el Camino. Rt side exhaust is loose and leaks, needs a tune ,etc. it was on consignment from a estate the dad the owner passed away he had a Florida trip planned the son also a mechanic said sell as is. So Lucky to get it people r going nuts buying vans. People offering 500 and 1,000 more than asking price. I got it for 3,900 paid 450 in gas for a ride down.

Vans are the best for Moto! 2010 Ford E350 XLT…had it since 2011 150k drives like a Cadillac! Every once & a while I take my pickup truck for riding…Pita to load the bike, always feel like I”m forgetting something… I have everything I need in my van, gear, tools, spare parts, spare wheels… food! I been eyeing up my next van…not sure what to get Sprinters seem over priced, may just get another Ford product… the E series vans have been very good to me, going on 25 years with Ford vans!

Your van looks Great but if you plan to buy another in 10 months. Start looking now. I preferred a g20 but I looked at every make. I had a lot of vans including a couple dodge maxi vans with 318,s and ford extended with a 300 6 another great engine. A lot of people r starting a buisness and need a van. Plus the vanning crazy is huge in America now. Scout connection a buisness is where I bought mine. They hv a salavsge yard, buy, sell, restore IH Scouts, etc. see pic another in there has 4k miles a 1960,s like new.

Nice Scout! Agree on the Van life resurgence…. I won’t get rid of mine until I have another in the driveway👍 That’s how it is now, same with bikes, don’t sell until you have another in your possession…my first ford van had the FI in-line 6 engine… indestructible… the body rotted away but engine still ran like a top… probably still running today! I knew it was time to get rid of it when I was getting my gear on in the cargo area & I put my foot through the floor 😂

Haha rusty vehicles I grew up in them. If I moved a board I could watch the road at 3 in a vw beetle, no heat of course. Scout connection is where I bought the white van. The orange Scout is all oem with a removalable top you can see the roll bar. Father son buisness retail store has a lot of parts , salavage yard too. The other 4k miles scout I couldn’t get a pic of. I just pulled the dog house looks like all oem distributor, plugs and wires. I just replaced all that on my 95. I couldn’t get the rotor off but did 2 weeks ago. It was backfiring and surging real hard in 4th so I ran it in 3rd. I didn’t think I was going to make it to Chicago for work. Haha

I keep mine kind of stealth and don't advertise what's really in it to avoid getting my bike ripped off. For some reason, my pit is always chock full of school age kids, though. Unsure

It’s from a company called Bolt it On. Little pricey but worth every cent for me. Literally can be installed and removed in less than 30 seconds and no drilling or hardware to be installed. I have three bike chicks but you can customize it and move the chocks without tools. The bike pro chock has a wheel holder so you don’t need tie downs.

Wilderness Vans Lethbridge Alberta Canada for the idea. American Vans Stanton California for doing the build out. They have better expierence and finishing capabilities than I have.

randbagger.. seen a couple others with your build-out design and it's the best use of space imo. Interior with the z-wall bed, twin rear seats, dual side windows is exactly how I'd do it if I ever went to a high roof Van from my Chevy Express. Love the extra window in the back wall, great idea. Only thing I'd look for is some storage cut outs or pockets in the rear doors. MotoVan perfection!

What’s that van called? Model?
5/19/2022 8:15pm
From Wilderness Vans it is trans moto. I copied the look from there and gave guesstaments to Am Vans. We check fit the motos two times and adjusted clearances as we went along. Wilderness Vans has the dimensions set for their van.
