In honor of the MTB thread which is drool worthy. Anyone have a sweet road bike to show off. I always enjoy seeing what others have. Mine pictured: Giant TCR Advanced 2

2010 Dahon Speed Pro TT, purchased when I was commuting by train to London and riding to the office. Still in regular use. Fun, quick and capable of giving riders of full-sized road bikes a surprise.

Tempted to order a Canyon Aeroad CF SL 7.0, as the value for money looks astonishingly good.

Not a true road bike but my all rounder everyday ride.
Giant TCX SLR2 CX. Running more tarmac friendly gearing on it and a set of road wheels for pavement days.

It’s rad seeing how many moto guys are using bicycles as a hobby and fitness tool, whether MTB, road or both.

My road ride is a S-Works Tarmac Disc. I’ve put several thousand miles on this bike in the last 9 months and it continues to impress me!

2014 Specialized Roubaix SL-4 w a few minor upgrades. Bought new and put a couple of thousand miles a year on it. Saving my pennies for Titanium, a Moots or similar.

SE Lager. Dependable but heavy. Good for around town, the bottle shop or a beach run.

it all really started for me the summer of 2016. I had the amazing opportunity to cycle across country from Seattle to DC to raise money and awareness for people with disabilities. Started out with a Roubaix and summer of 17, upgraded to the tarmac pro... here's a few pics. A lot of my Moto buddies are actually getting pretty serious into the road cycling now too.

A cross/gravel bike is so much more useful than a pure road bike, and gives up so little for most uses. IMO, unless the ride is going to average low twenties and up, there's little justification for a pure road bike. I run 38mm tires most of the year, and hardly ever use my (super cool and fast) deep section carbon wheels.

At the top of Sa Calobra on Mallorca last October. Spent 9 days there, mostly road riding, and definitely will return.
Frame is a Carver custom ti with coupling and budget build for travel

At the end of spring snow plowing progress in the North Cascades National Park in 2018. DeSalvo custom ti frame (I like ti..) Recently changed over to 1X on this one.

2006 Cannondale Six 13 Carbon... it just has a 105 group on it but I tell you what it is absolutely bullet proof! It spent a lot of its life mounted on a trainer but that broke last year. I just put my road rear wheel on earlier today and plan on taking it for a spin tomorrow .... please no flats puuuhlease!!!!!!

My Scott CR1. Got about 1200 in it after replacing the wheels, bars, post, and seat. One of those auctions where the dude posted shitty photos and the red looked pink. Nobody put a bid in but me.

But I gave the guy 5 times what he had listed to ship if he would just take it to his local bike shop to package and ship.

Funny... I have always wanted a Roubaix and was over on the Spec website a few hours ago checking out your bike!

Never thought Comp level with Di2 would be in my price range, but I got a great deal )and a little extra by trading in my Emonda.). Everyone says not to try Di2 because you’ll never go back. So far, the bike frame and groupo are awesome. Happy bike hunting!
