DFW local, Taylor Nichols, crashed this weekend and severed his spine. He rides for the same AX team as my son. Got kick in the whoops and landed on his head. Word is, he is in good spirits but has a long recovery if he is to ever walk again. As 2017 comes to a close, please add him to your prayer list, send him good video or what ever you can.

****UPDATE 1/3/17**** So he is still in a pain, but on the good side, he has some feeling on his stomach and one side of his hip. I don't know a lot about neck injuries, but that sounds good.

Damn... back injuries really do suck! When you say severed his spine, meaning damage to the spinal cord as well? Prayers sent his way!!

Man! Horrible to hear!!
I'll just say life in a chair sucks but it doesn't suck anywhere near as much as I thought it would! But unfortunately he won't be in a head space to hear that right now..

Oh man , this dang sport can be the best sport ever , but it can sometimes be a real evil bastard at times too. I hope Taylor heals up nice and good. Always such a real bummer to hear about things like this.
