Good News ! After seeing all the bad stuff we’re going through it’s encouraging to read something positive.
Thank you 🙏🏽 to Pro Motocross & DC..

I don't think Supercross is the cash cow it once was, I think for the most part no spectator motorsports are what they were 10 years ago. Hopefully there will be an opportunity here for some entity with more of a stake in the motorcycle industry to get a hold of it. Maybe a consortium of the OEMs, energy drinks, and mega aftermarket companies with MX Sports. I wish they didn't happen but there are opportunities in every tragedy.

I disagree, the question is at what capacity. At the most extreme level of precaution, they could have a race with only racers and essential team personnel, no fans, or unnecessary people in the pits. They could not have any spectators, or move spectator fencing back where necessary, and limit number and density of spectators. Broadcast the race and keep the sport alive. While doing the service of entertainment. Television time shouldn't be hard to get right now. The riders are practicing somewhere, might as well entertain the fans and advertise.

Would be nice if this comes to fruition.....but I don't see it with the wholesale destruction of our economy right now.

Negative Nancy!

Glen Helen is holding a 2 day International that weekend for the IOTMX so again Glen Helen will be taking thousands of spectators away from Pala Fox National. WTF.

Great job for DC and MX Sports. I'm hopeful that we have about 2 more months of this and can get back to normal. Summer racing outdoors will bring a smile to everyone's face after this disaster.

I think you’re grossly underestimating the viewership and cash cow that is today’s (you know what I mean) SX series.

Thousands of spectators? Hmm ok. Idk if I saw a thousand spectators at the last GP there.

That race is also a week earlier than last year. I'm not saying it won't be hot.

Last year I blasted GH for hosting their ride day on the same day as Pala...and I feel completely okay about it. A cheap shot is a cheap shot. I think it was one of the most transparently low things I've seen a promoter do.

I also know how Tom White's family felt about it. It wasn't good.

As for your post? You know it's okay not to post, right?

I’m hoping to be there again this year but I’m not saying it’s not gonna be hot 😂

For one thing our race was changed before the schedule for the Nationals new schedule was released. For 2nd it’s a International for riders over 40 years old and up to some 80 year olds, it’s a club promoted event.
People it a joke. We won’t take away anybody from attending Pala. In fact we will record it and play it Saturday night for everyone. I hope things get better so we don’t lose anymore dates and affect a great series. Everyone stay healthy and I pray we don’t lose any Moto Heads to this Virus.

Not looking good for outdoors - they just put a hold on all sales for all races.. It is in RacerX online in the list, schedule updates.

I hope this Covid virus gets to a manageable point so the boys can race.the outdoors.

I cant for the life of me understand why you end up with the schedule taking you across the country 3 times with no breaks until after Washougal. Why not just put the west races consecutively? They're far enough apart that you're not pulling attendance from another race. It seems to have always been an issue and I've traveled the entire schedule, those races like that suck for everyone from privateers to truck drivers.
Go ahead, you try arranging that. You don't think DC was and is trying to run the best and easiest MX schedule he can organize? Spray some WD-40 on those rusty buckles and get with the program sonny.

Booby isn't wrong.

The last time Davey and I were watching a SX at a local bar here, the first thing he said to me was "We love to make the schedule as cost and time prohibitive as possible for the teams."

No, he didn't really say that. That dude works his ass off for this sport. Davey bleeds MX and would do anything he could to make the travel easier than what it is. But certain Promoters have certain dates, and there ya go.

Great seeing you on Davey with the updates and facts. Any improvements with the TV package?
