How would you rank this episode? I think this one is way funnier that #400. Reminds me of my friends getting together to talk about the last race we went to, even though many of us are different skill levels and ride different classes we support each other when racing then give each other crap afterwards. We also tend to pick out some racer in one of our classes that we don't really know (like "Kong") and bust a buddies balls over being beat by him or ecking out a win over them. Anyhow, no real point to this post, just been cracking up listening to #404 on my way to and from work this week.

It was a really good show, but I don't get your poll choices. Why a poll?

I almost started a post on this episode too. It was great to hear Steve and the guys sounding like the rest of us after a great day of riding. I could tell there was a lot of energy in the room. I'm glad he decided to go for it, I'm sure it helps with the motivation to get a reminder of why we all do this. Congrats Matthes!!

It was great! I wish they had Alex Ray come in that night cause i think he was there supporting his dad.

I have to agree.... Episode 400 was great; but drunk RV dominating every conversation got really old...

I knew this weeks episode would be amazing thanks to the bench racing over World Vets, and how well all the guys finished.. Episode #404 DID NOT disappoint!! They had me laughing out loud so many times...

Gauldy is an absolute riot... Always a great story teller (his recap of first time in Las Vegas from a previous pod is great; and of course the Carney story is an epic classic)...

Oh man - I've never, ever heard Steve sound so humbled than when Heather Keefer absolutely destroyed his "waiting to eat dinner" rant hahaha.... He was absolutely rattled doing the sponsor reads after that, and everyone in the studio knew it; which had me laughing even more!

All time epic episode; no doubt!!

One of the best shows of recent memory for sure! And it’s an off season show, no less.

Does anyone have a link to the start video of Steve? I’m dying to see it.

amazing show. Laughed alot... out loud! mix a few "homestyle" shows like this in every once in a while. Excellent work keeping us Jerkys entertained.

The A-Ray call in would have been good, especially with all the buzz of him leaving aRMy.

As someone who lives in Vegas and rides at ‘field of dreams’ often.. I thought it was hilarious.. and Berluti was right, if you go out there, it will be rough!

I'm not sure...I was just going to do the typical post and then I saw the poll option and thought I've never did that before so would give it a shot. I'll refrain from polling in the future!

That show made me feel like I wish I was there racing.

It was funny how Steve kept joking about the guy who got hurt seriously (get well soon dude!) that took out some of the pack and helped him get a higher finish. I think they were going to hook him up with some merch.

Not much to add here other than I was howling in laughter at points listening to this on the archive. I/'m sure people beside me at stop lights on my commute were wondering what the fuck was so funny in my vehicle! I only got to listen to maybe 45 minutes live, but after getting through the whole archive I have to say this was a superb show.

Gauld is always great on these shows. He's witty, has humility and isn't afraid to laugh at himself, knows when to speak up (and when to let others talk), and seems like an all around good time. I'd love to see him on the show more than the 1-2 times a year and having him and Berluti together seems like it'd be a great combo.

Gauldy commenting on his chapped lips seriously had me creasing. I can only imagine Travis snipped that one out for a drop.

During the show I was trying to justify a new 450 and get back to racing.

I was thinking the same thing. I’m not done with it yet but for sure think it’s going better than 400. Lot of laughs!

I haven’t listened to it yet, but I will. When I tuned in, it was halfway through the After Dark portion and that had me laughing. Can’t wait to check the rest out.

Kong is a mad cunt, staunch little motherfucker he is from up around the Cairns area, same area as the Lawrence brothers, Wilson Todd, Mitch Evans.
He can shred a dirt bike and still puts 20yr kids to shame when he races.

That episode I was in tears!! I still got about an hour to go, I'll try to finish it tomorrow.

Gauldy is the tits

Well, you had to have a dirt bike to ride dirt bikes...

It was a good show, funny to hear all the antics about getting to the races and Steve without his coffee. I always enjoy when Keefer is on, but they should have Heather on more after that beating she gave Steve.

Great listen. Loved the question to Keefer about a Honda only starting and running if the right side exhaust was covered.
