You might wonder why I bring this up. Well me & some buddies started talking about who's the baddest mother of all. We came to one agreement that RC is the only modern era rider to compete in both series & flat out dominate the sport. Stewart seems he's influenced to much from Brooks to not race outdoors now. When if you look @ the big picture JS has enough money & pull to race outdoors if he wanted to & he chooses not to. So no matter how much JS dominates SX he will always be out done by RC. Just a little rant !!!!
The Shop
who have watched the last 20 years of MX/SX say that he IS the GOAT.
Especially when you notice the black goat coming through on the inside.
Pit Row
Look , It's simple!!!......
The rider with the MOST overall wins and championships in his career should be considered the GOAT!
Every pro rider ever born had to race against HIS OWN competitors from THAT specific era!
There is NO argument here what so ever!
IF James was to have 1 more win than RC in the overall SX / MX combined......I "might" consider him as an equal! BUT.....you still simply can NOT compare just wins.......you HAVE TO compare the amount of titles as well!
It really is a simple theory ! And no matter how many people ( for whatever reason ) disagree with that.....you are WRONG!
Another point of interest is this : With James NOT racing the outdoors , he simply has no chance in hell of ever catching RC in the most overall wins! He will also have an almost impossible task of ever beating Mc's supercross record.
He has 38 wins now........he needs another 34 wins just to tie JM......and another 35 to beat him! He would have to win every single round for the next 2-1/2 years strait to beat MC's record.
I Think James is Awesome! But , the records speak for themselves! IF you ask me..... He is killing his legacy by not racing the outdoors!
I fully agree.
James, Chad, they are all great racers, but overall, RC is truly the G.O.A.T. All James can become from here on out is the next supercross "king" (if you're into that whole labeling sorta thing).
