This is from 2017, so maybe stale news by now. It would be cool to hear from Wageman and what that was all about, especially since it's apparently not happening.

I know a lot of people who were really hoping this bike was going to lead to something, and I was one of them. But it doesn’t sound like that’s going to happen

i'd set the tooling to focus on cranking out amateur bikes that are cost effective. maybe factory mount kits that allow motor swaps from 125-250f or bigger depending on the class structuring of the future.
pretty soon, smart company like alta will create great hybrid bikes that can be set by the turn of a dial and boom, you're riding 3+ classes for just one bike.
