What's everyone's thoughts. For a while I was like this is ridiculous then after watching them zoom into him I thought he looked pretty good for 2 hours riding since Las Vegas last year. If he loses 5 kg and plenty of time on the bike which he easily will I think he can top 5 again, and i mean 5th not podium but ya never know.
STAMP IT!
The Shop
Set up and fitness he will be top 5..
Think if he gets a holeshot in one of the triple crown rounds?
Came out in 1 piece at 50% at best..
Big for his sponsors and his self confidence.
Spoke to someone that was near his pit after the race and they said he could not put any weight on his foot when he got back.
He has to be a litle rusty, a little unfit and a lot sore, no doubt he will get better each and every week.
Im with those who think he has top 5s and a podium still in him.
Shit he does not even have that bike sorted completley yet.
There is certainly some work to be done,
Then he should be able to show some good finishes, podiums no, top 5's, yes on a given day, top 10's should be a shoe in.
He is nearly 50 anyway,
I'd have thought a direct injection to help the pain might have been on the cards.
Only thing I thought was his bike looked soft... He will get better tho, 15th is a good start though considering.
His season all depends on that, because I guarantee you he doesn’t ride this week before Houston. I’d be shocked if he does. How much progress can he make on setup and fitness if he can’t ride and train?
Once he can do that, like I said I think he’s top 5-7 with a rare podium.
Pit Row
And before you guys light me up, I'm joking. I know he's been unable to train much, if at all. What a badass.
I would not be surprised at all to see him win a race when the field is thin because of injuries in the latter part of the season.
Right on Reed! I'm rooting for you!
