Disclaimer: Big Chad Reed fan.

Got to thinking earlier... How do we all think Reed will do this weekend? On paper he is perfectly primed to perform without any real excuses, except for maybe jet lag from being in Aus last weekend + traveling across the country this week.

He's (very) fit, is on factory equipment, has had a good amount of seat time, has a point to prove and not a lot to lose. Plus he's always good on the hard packed dirt.

Could he be an underdog?
Poll

How will Reed do at the Moster Energy Cup?

Well i love the guy, he is a legend so if he can get a top 5 after a shitty year that would be a nice step forward before A1.

Wish him well,

I’m going to peg him for a top 5 finish, he normally starts well and the shorter races will help.

I say if he gets starts he podiums. If he doesn't he might be good for top 5s.

Looking forward too it though, the old bastard usually is good when he feels everyone thinks he can't!

I think top 5 overall. Winning a single main wouldnt surprise me. Be good to see how he stacks up against other riders at the moment.

If there's whoops I'd almost be willing to say he has a legit shot at winning.

I would love to see him win one of the mains just to stir up the hornet's nest coming into A1

The track doesn’t look too technical, the whole back section looks like it will be follow the leader. I don’t think there will be much passing, with good starts anything is possible.. I voted top 5

Go Speedy... hope he is fit, the bike is dialed in and he has an incident free weekend. Could get a couple of holeshots, as those Zuks seem quick out of the gate. Hoping for a top 5!!

I expect Tomac to be off the mark after this MXoN loss and Musquin to be fired up and ready. If Musquin has any issues I think Malcolm could be a dark horse for a win. He's never had this much time to prep on a factory bike.... Chad on the other hand, 4-5th O/A

I don’t think he’ll be in a spot to podium, but close to the top 5 for sure. Hopefully ends up on the team for the SX season, then we’ll really get to see Reed in action!

Yea right if he wins the million....he won’t leave the sport for another ten years! Mega confidence booster.
