Seeing the old pic from Stewart(yea I know)'s 125 days where he was testing a factory Honda 125 got me thinking. If you could pick a rider to ride for a team they never rode for, which combo would you pick? Bored at work, It's the off-season, and just plain curious...
For me it would be Alessi staying on Hondas and getting a factory ride after amateurs. I think had he not gone to KTM he would have won the championship in 05.

I would have also liked to see Webb stay with RedBull and Honda through amateurs and into his pro career. Bonus would have been to get JGR to step up and make an amateur Honda effort for his 250 days and groom him into the pros.
I guess I see through rose colored glasses.

2nd would be all the guys that left Suzuki at one time or another.
