Hard to believe Valentino Rossi’s right leg was in pieces just 23 days ago. In other good news:
He had an amusing way of describing how this injury was much less troublesome than that in 2010. “Last time I could go to the toilet by myself after five days. This time, after one day."

haha yeah i measured my recovery by the same. From not wanting to drink and eating so i didnt have to get up to the washroom to not caring and crutching over whenever i wanted haha

I compression fractured some lower verterbrae when I was about 14. Had to sleep out in the loungeroom on a mattress on the floor in front of our only TV for a week. Didn't drink much also to keep trips down but when I needed to go to the toilet, I rolled onto my skate board. Pulled myslf down to the bathroom then spent about 2 minutes getting myself into an upright position. Then another 2 back down, drag back into the lounge and roll back over into my bed. Spent the next 3 months wearing a kindey belt when ever out of bed. Injuries suck.

It was truly amazing to watch. Even the fact that he was able to advance straight to Q2 was amazing.
