I'm toying with selling my never ridden since restored/rebuilt 2000 CR250. New engine with maybe 5 minutes of field riding to seat the rings, new OEM plastics, new just about everything. Hell, it even has the OEM warning stickers on the new OEM plastics. Shroud graphics are not OEM. Robert Reynard did the rebuild and we replaced everything in the engine, bottom and top.
I know this is a "loaded post" and most will respond "tree fiddy" but I'm hoping some might offer useful, accurate pricing guidance rather than the old "It's worth whatever somebody will pay for it".

I dropped a few pennies on my 01 CR 250. Knowing I’ll never get what I put into it, I decided long ago it was better to hold onto it rather than take a huge loss.
The Shop
There are bikes that need a complete tear down and rebuild selling for around $3500 no problem.
-People have (had) stimulus checks.
-The public couldn't go to the beach, bar, or concerts, and they have to spend their money somehow. Now, venues are closing all over the place again.
-Dealers have nearly sold out of all their dirt inventory, and the manufacturers are scrambling to catch up with demand. It may be months before they can.
For all these reasons, used bikes are hot right now. They are selling at auction for more than 100% of trade-in value.
