just a hunch this might happen, but I'd like to see Savatgy continue his rise to the front and start dicing it out with Webb. if it happens 2019 is going to become an even more interesting year quick. both the 17 and 2 bring the style, technique, and aggression that sometimes forecast historic racing, but it's only a guess.

I feel Joey has a lot to learn still in the 450 class tho.

That mechanical was a bummer

I expect Webb to win lots of races and a handful of Championships on the 450...I expect Savatgy to be a 4th-8th place guy with an occasional podium and maybe, maybe, a race win before his career is over. So I don't see them battling to much over their careers except when Webb gets a bad start and passes him on his way to the podium.

And I would love it if Savatgy proved me wrong...I hope he does.

Don’t forget Osborne is coming. This season is gonna be awesome. Wish Anderson and Mookie were still in it, though.

Savatgy seems to control the 450 with aggressive precision. he has new technique on the 450. I assure you Webb has him in the back of his mind. we have two Bradshaw-like riders, and boy did we need it.

The interesting part will be, as the season starts to warm up, the riders from third and behind that are getting their setup on point and will start pushing for the front. If Webb or Savatgy have a good lead, that’s one thing...but the experienced 450 guys like Tomac, Barcia & Roczen aren’t going to just let the youngsters take the farm. Yeah, it’s going to be a good season!

I’m the only person I know that’s a Savatgy fan and I hope he lives up to this ‘Bradshaw-like’ title you just threw out. More likely that Webb will be battling with Marv and Tomac though.

The biggest problem with Savatgy is confidence. He's still learning the 450...but he showed his speed and ability on the big bike at Monster Cup. If he can get a top 3 and possibly even just 1 main event win...he could really take off. Like AC, I think he's more suited for the big bike. I wish he was a bit more aggressive, but he has the heart and spirit.

Look my 7 twitter followers know that I’m annoyingly huge Webb fan, but Savatgy is doing a lot better than I guessed he would. I’d say things are looking good for him.

Wow... webb has been plugging along for 2 years after some were predicting he would dominate in his rookie 450 season back in 2017.
He pulls off 2 wins and again, suddenly he is the second coming of hannah.

Please.

There is still a long way to go this season.

it's because he has the aggressive attitude of a Hannah, Bradshaw, etc. so yes, the sport needs that and wants to see it again. personally I think Savatgy has some of that too.

Savatgy is going into his sixth race on a 450. Webb has been on one for 2 years. I wouldn't be surprised if they meet up sooner than a lot seem to think. Savatgy has been up and down lately, but he has what it takes and is dedicated.
