Should the US Send a MXdN Team? Poll?

7/25/2017 3:15pm Edited Date/Time 7/28/2017 9:20am
Can we get a poll on whether we'd like to see the USA field a 2017 MXdN Team?

I for one think we shouldn't.

The important racing is here, and sending a team in October interferes with that. Until Youthstream makes it more convenient for the best riders in the world to attend, I think it's a waste of time and resources.

It is by far my favorite race of the year and I would be extremely bummed if we didn't field a team.

The best riders in the world do attend, and the best riders in the world will still be there , if you dont come.

You realise Marvin went 1-1 at the weekend and still might not make the French Team dont you .

If anyone else has listened to Matthes' theory of how Youthstream should help out the US more for this event I 100% agree, seems silly that they continue to bite the hand that feeds them.

When your home country finishes mid pack in the B main , I'd feel the same way. Lucky for us , in these past few years that we haven't won , only Belgium has been more consistent then us to land on the box , with France a close second. Funny how you and a few other's mock the AMA rider's and the American riders when we don't win the MXoN's. And all while they completely smoke your home country men.

We may not of won the event lately , but you better believe we will again.

And yes , I hope we send a team every year. Might not always be the best we have to offer at the time , but either way , I'll be proud of them.

Yes they should stay home. It's embarrassing when they get talked up by Vitards as the best in the world then fucking lose.

Feeds them ?? How.

You cant even organise an event FFS.. As it stands now, the whole ' US needs to host the Nations every 3 years ' bit just blows.. guys bleating that they dont want to come, will suddenly be available, and you should tell them to shove it.

Zero respect for any rider that doesnt step up to ride, fair play to Osborne, he has been here and he gets it.

With the best riders in the world bowing out year after year; yeah, a dumb question to ask.

I think we could win it with Zach , Barcia and Anderson. Anderson won his first pro outdoor moto at the event, Barcia has
always done well and Zach will destroy this MX2 field.

Lol you're something else. Our guys have a chance to win every single year, no matter where the race is held.

Every other team stands absolutely no chance if it's held at a track in the USA. That should tell you something. But hey, keep trolling. You still look stupid.

It's a nuanced position, so I'm not surprised that some of you don't get it.

The fact is, the MXdN is extremely inconvenient for US riders financially and logistically. I say they sit out a few years until some concessions are made to make it more convenient for the the premier riders to attend.

It's not about money. It's about having passion and respect for your country.

You obviously have neither of these for your country.

This. Honestly it just sounds like poor sportsmanship, "if we can't win we won't go" Maybe when it's held in the US the euro teams should just stay home and use the same excuse that the US is using. The show will go on with or without the US and quite frankly I think it would be an insult to the US fans not to send a team.

Well the whiners like Dungey and Tomac will cry and say they race too many races and they need a break. Our fastest guys don't care to represent the United States of America anymore. No patriotism in a lot of the soft handed young generation anymore. You ride a motorcycle for a living for Christ sake. Of course we should send a crew.

We better send a team. The biggest and most important race of the year.

Well played Jeffro.

As for the original question; we should always send a team. Send whatever three want to go, especially with Decoster running the show.
