Well since im rebuilding my kx , i think im gonna buy a brand new yz 250 next week ... and then maybe i can get out to the track ....

Hoping to make the hike down to Henderson , NC rode that track alot and its about the best that i have close to me ... budds creek is comparable distance . i have a local practice track but ive ridden it for 15+ years looking for something new .. and theres anoth District 13 track , south fork ... but the vibes there are awful now , and the crowd has really died down in the motocross industry here in virginia it seems like ... or maybe im out of the loop.

But to answer your question sadly i havent been able to twist the throttle in a while and it's killing me ...

I didn't ride, but I signed paperwork for our new house on 2 acres. Not huge by any means, but big enough for a mini bike track to be the first upgrade for my 5yr old twins... Brraaapppp!!!!

Last race didn't go so well, so I'm down for a while. Body feels about the same as my clutch master cylinder.

I rode and worked on my single track loop. Headed out in a few minutes with a chainsaw and machete.

Lil brap sesh at Pala yesterday. Ended with a lawn dart into that wonderfully prepped loamy dirt.

I cannot speak for the rest of the U.S but in North Carolina & Virginia MX is doing very well. Tracks have great turn outs for races and practice days are doing very good. Even surprisingly so.

Was going to race the summer series but, you know, Smash Mouth was in town on Saturday

Sand mountain Saturday. Not very many people. Was supposed to rain that day. Track was wet but still had a blast.

Spent all day Saturday building some little kickers and ruts around the farm, spent all day Sunday riding, going to spend all day today complaining how sore/slow I am.

Got out for an open practice yesterday. Had every intention of breaking in the FC450 but the track prep was just horrible so I just rode the smoker.

I heard Stewart was riding....

To get back on topic... I didn't hit a track this weekend but did put about 300 on my adventure bike... Lots of empty 2 lane paved roads plus plenty of gravel roading...

Lucky's Landing MX park. Had a blast and got our motos in before it got too hot, everyone went home in one piece. We are getting some pretty good days in TX lately, the rain has been soaking the tracks and we haven't hit the 100 mark yet.
