I’m putting live updates (live as I can) on my Insta feed (and FB page)
Mike Alessi cooks breakfast for Team Sturm members
The Shop
Walking the track with this flag-thingy like a burial ceremony.
They changed it and rightly so
But several riders crashed there. Goerke came off to the left and jumped into the rhythm section in the other lane. Crashed into a rider launching off a jump going into the other direction
Glad it was changed ... the way they changed it kind of sucked, but I’ll take that over riders getting hurt.
Good luck!
The space between the three and the step up was so tight, the bikes would completely G-out and become unstable.
Add to that, the “dirt “ (which resembles modeling clay right then) was soft and getting rutted in the middle.
Add to that tight transition, good speed
Then add to that no “safe space” between the lanes leaving some room for error, and place to land or even crash without being in the next lane, going head on.
Recipe for disaster, and for some, it was. Last count I heard was 8 riders injured due to that thing.
Already saw Matt this morning, he’s pretty beat up feeling
Guy he ran into head on, Bayless (GBR) broke his wrist.
Pit Row
Racing is tough, bruh

That’s what they changed step over to
Thanks for the updates Dave. Love seeing the B market races be treated very professionally.
The non moto TV announcer called Breece "Fly Breece" all the time because the fly logo was printed above his name on the back of the shirt and he thought that's his nickname...
