Just read that LunAqua is only bottled 13 times a year during a full moon. Get out of here. Laughing

What a stupid rider introduction Pinch
Walking the track with this flag-thingy like a burial ceremony. Blink

I'm liking the obstacles on this little track. That middle section where you can go 3-2 up over that very steep final jump can really allow somebody to make up some time. I'd like to see more random stuff like this on supercross tracks.

That section was sketchy as hell. Very cool to see the riders send it but i agree with changing it for safety.,

No, I didn't see it. To be honest, I just watched the race link for about 5 minutes when I had a chance and the obstacle looked cool when they doubled over it. I hope nobody got hurt.

Yeah it was cool. And some riders complained when they took that double away.
But several riders crashed there. Goerke came off to the left and jumped into the rhythm section in the other lane. Crashed into a rider launching off a jump going into the other direction

That double up was sketchy ... it was easy, but also so easy to mess up and shoot left into oncoming traffic .. which happened a couple times. I made a very clear point in my interview after my heat win that it needed to be changed because it was going to get someone hurt.. 3 times I jumped over a bike laying on the other lane of the track because of that jump.

Glad it was changed ... the way they changed it kind of sucked, but I’ll take that over riders getting hurt.

Hopefully they find a better solution for that for tomorrow.
Good luck!

It was sketchy for several reasons.
The space between the three and the step up was so tight, the bikes would completely G-out and become unstable.
Add to that, the “dirt “ (which resembles modeling clay right then) was soft and getting rutted in the middle.
Add to that tight transition, good speed
Then add to that no “safe space” between the lanes leaving some room for error, and place to land or even crash without being in the next lane, going head on.

Recipe for disaster, and for some, it was. Last count I heard was 8 riders injured due to that thing.

Already saw Matt this morning, he’s pretty beat up feeling
Guy he ran into head on, Bayless (GBR) broke his wrist.

Leave that boring FMX stuff out(side) and track would have been better from first lap.

I love how sponsorladen all the riders are in Europe. They sure aren’t afraid to plaster big ass logos all over everything especially the riders gear. It’s loud and I’m a fan. Makes me wonder if there are things the Americans can learn from the euros for getting sponsorship dollars.

Thanks for the updates Dave. Love seeing the B market races be treated very professionally.

Dumb story of the day
The non moto TV announcer called Breece "Fly Breece" all the time because the fly logo was printed above his name on the back of the shirt and he thought that's his nickname...
