This is video slidshow I put together covering the history of Suzuki's motocross machines from 1968 through 2018. It covers only the models offered here in the US only. I am aware some models and years differ around the world so keep that in mind.. This video covers the RM, TM, and RM-Z series of machines from 50cc to 500cc.

Great work as always, quite a few i owned over the years , and one we still have now.

Was intrigued to see the 1976 RM 100 had a mud flap on the front , as standard, always assumed the one on mine was an add on by the first owner , who funnily enough, tracked me down on FB recently after not seeing him for 35 years.

Its basically a KX100 with yellow plastic and Zook decals.

It's not basically a KX 100 with yellow plastic and Suzuki decals. That's exactly what it is.

Brother had a 2005 RMZ/KXF 250 and he would switch plastics from time to time and people were gullible enough to believe he had 2 bikes.

Lol yup, I had an 03 KX100 many years ago. Came with the silver frame instead of green because Kawasaki was just swapping plastics depending on which "brand" it was gonna be.
My brother had a RM65 at the time, made by Kawasaki.
And my dad worked at Kawasaki, with a bunch of Suzuki quads around.
Kawasaki really stepped up the 250F game when they ditched Suzuki in 2006. Sorry Tyler, the early Zook 250Fs sucked.

This was a revival, I do not remember what it was, I think last year I did not know which race, maybe Assen or Lommel...

My first race bike- the machine of my dreams. The rear shocks were almost meaningless.

I've ridden almost every color and I've never been as comfortable on a bike as I have been on my RM-Z's.
What a brand. I cant wait to see their upcoming models. Suzuki is not dead.

Those early Zook 250Fs were half Kawasaki, you know. It's one of the (maybe the only) bikes that was jointly developed by the two companies. Everything else was simply cross-branded:

Green LT-A400 quads and DR-Z400s
Yellow KX100s and KX65s
