Several weeks back I found something worth making a road trip for. Always wanted one but always had reasons for not parting with the money to only have something sitting in a corner. Years passed and new ones kept getting fewer and fewer until they are pretty much nonexistent. Then one day, the next best thing pops up for $2900.00.

Loaded up a ramp and some tie downs and headed east on the 10.

Of course heading east on the 10 from my house quickly puts you out over the water on a bridge.

No. Found a new one of those, but I'm not coughing up 10K.

Besides, I’ve always been more of a 125 nut. My fetish is all about some early Elsinore action. And while I do have a first year 250

Nice tease Joe but we need a shot of the bike to get the vital crew approval! Cool

I've often wondered about those aftermarket hour meters how does one know that it was not mounted after a good hundred hours on the machine?

We have all heard the tall tales on what goes on with odometers on used cars..... Woohoo

Geezus Newman, cut out the 'suspense' bullshit.

Alloy Frame, Red Rad Shroud, Black tank.

A(nother) bloody AF500, of some sort?

Or, with your aforementioned 125 proclivities, a late / current model framed CR125?

Meh........WoohooWhistlingEvil

Like I said, while I do have an early 250 I have a load of the early 125’s and parts galore. One day I’ll do a proper restore on one for display. Always wanted a last year 125 to have for display along with a first year one and I think this one will work just fine.

Well, you've a 'first of' (I think), and now a 'last of' ( I assume).

Now, for one of every bloody one........ or, have you now, that very batch of 'things'?

Just got to be sure it's outright ownership and not a 99-year lease kind of deal.

You realize that is like the slowest 125 ever don't you? Might even beat out the 93 YZ125 for that title!Laughing
